I collect inspiration from the mysteries of the world: from the discovery of self to the unseen forces around us; from the happenings of the past to the possibilities of the future; and from the the search for truth to the humor of humanity. I began as a photographer, mostly out of the enjoyment of capturing the beauty around us.. but what really sucked me in was visual communication itself. They say our brains keep records in images; that everything we think starts as an idea, changes to an image, and is translated into language. That philosophy has brought me to where I am. I want to take these ideas that capture our minds and create pieces that capture our senses. I live in Roanoke, VA, which is a small city in a beautiful valley. I am in a loving relationship, although the closest thing we have to children are our three felines.
